Restoring our Best & Fairest Photos

Looking after Our History
Over the years many items of Historical importance are collected by The Club and a key component at Chelsea has been the photographs taken of our Snr Best & Fairest Players.
The Best & Fairest, photos have been displayed in the Club House for many years but time has deteriorated them and many are now in very poor condition. In addition frames have become unstable and recently it has been necessary to remove them from display to protect them from further damage.
Long term Club stalwart Joe O'Neill has taken it upon himself to seek out options that would allow these photos to be restored. He has established that a process is available which would enable the prints to be refurbished, following which they would be put into new standardised frames and mounted in an appropriate location in the club house where they would be once again available for viewing.

There would be a cost of approximately $4,000- involved in undertaking this project and it has been determined that we will seek sponsors or donors in an effort to raise that amount of money so that this most important project can proceed.
Tax Invoices would be available as required and all Sponsors/Donors supporting this project to the extent of $100- or more would have their names included on a plaque which will be mounted with the new Best & Fairest Photos display.
Should you be interested in helping out please speak directly with Joe O'Neill at The Club or alternatively email us at advising that you are prepared to assist. Upon receipt of your email we will get back to you to make arrangements.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
