Heat in the Kitchen
FNQ Heat recently took part in the 'Budget Bites Challenge', an inaugural event established by The Cairns Alliance of Social Services to create awareness for Anti-Poverty Week 16-22 October.
In a 'celebrity cook-off' style competition, our captain Jamie Carroll went up against the Northern Pride boys. A really fun morning! Big thanks to local community organisations for this wonderful initiative - Anglicare North Queensland, Mission Australia, Centacare Cairns, Cairns Regional Council and many more.
