Wyndham Star Weekly recognises Hoppers Basketball

As the current Club President, I had the pleasure of acknowledging these members that have shown commitment, loyalty and leadership to the club and our future stars.

The club would like to congratulate Stuart McKay (coach), Aden McKay, Jarryd Langdon and Tristan Kewish who have been playing in the same Hoppers Tigers team's for over ten years. It's a wonder that those three boys have survive under Stuart for so long, jokes! As for Shannon Jacobs, it's also a great pleasure to see her still here supporting our club as there have been many temptations to move on. Shannon now has her eyes set on the 400 games and breaking the clubs 460 games record.

Clubs struggle to survive unless you have members that are willing to dedicate their time back, whether it be a coach or the players. So this is the lease the club could do to expose these great personalities within our club.

  • Stuart McKay - Coach from 2003 - 2014
  • Tristan Kewish (377 games) - player from 2003 - 2014
  • Jarryd Langdon (367 games) - player from 2003 - 2014
  • Aden McKay (342 games) - player from 2003 - 2014
  • Shannon Jacobs (378 games) - player from 2005 - 2014
