The RMC Cats
The Boys from the Brook are having a well-deserved week off due to the bye. After 12 hard fought Rounds let’s look at a few things the boys have achieved so far this year.
- After 12 rounds and 11 games played The Cats remain undefeated a feat only matched in the BDAFL by the Nelson Bay Women’s squad
- With only 3 games left The Cats have secured a top two finish with TEBB the only team that can steal away the Minor premiership
- The Cats have only scored less than 100 points in a game twice in 2016 once against TEBB in Rd 1 and once against City in Rd 4
- The biggest win so far was against Singleton in Rd 3 when the Cats won 196 – 14
- The Cats have kicked a total of 215 Goals and 140 behinds for a total of 1430 and are the #1 attacking team in the BDAFL 2nd division.
- The Cats are scoring an average of 130 points per game with an average 19.5 goals per game
- The Cats concede an average of 25 points per game and are the #1 defensive team in the BDAFL 2nd division.
- The Cats have 5 goal kickers in the top ten for the BDAFL second division and take out 1st and 2nd spot with Adam Higham (C) on 45 and Jono Williams on 40
- The Cats have used 33 players so far in 2016, 11 of which have made their senior debut in 2016
- Head coach Brian Scott is in his second year at the role and has a win rate of 70%
- The Cats have gained their first piece of silverware for 2016 in The Nathan Duncan Memorial Shield
With all their achievements so far the boys still have their eyes on the prize and are looking forward to the post season, there is still a long way to go but the boy will show some great tarnacisy to get the job done.
