Tate Barry, hands down the most underrated player on the Cats squad.
Tate mostly fly’s under the radar and no one really notices the effort and commitment he puts in each and every week. He always gives 100% at training and on game day he just doesn’t stop working.
Tate does all the little things right, he always runs hard for the ball, puts his body on the line and is always looking to put in the second effort. Not many people notice all the things he does but without him on the wing the team would really struggle.
Tate has backed up his Rookie of the year season in 2-015 with an even better effort in 2016 and it should see him place well in the awards at the end of the year.
Cats President Ken “Quicksilver” Garland said “I was extremely pleased to see Tate come back for a second year, he was a standout rookie in 2015 and we were worried when his work commitments looked like it would stop him playing, luckily he has come back and become a force in the team.”
