Don't Stand By. Stand Up!

All across Australia, there are people and organisations doing great things to reduce and prevent racism. You can contribute too; your club can stand up to racism and show that it has no place in our game.

Take the pledge to add your support to the cause, then utilise the information and resources found below to stand up to racism.

It is important to note that racism has no place in sport and educating all involved with in our club is important.  Information will be posted and sent to all club members, players, coaches, parents and club officials.  It is extremely important that everyone understands all relevant information that goes with stamping out racism and what everyones role is to make sure it is stopped.  Processes are in place and will passed over.  Every individual team will be spoken to and educated.  There will also be Information session for all parents in the next few weeks.

Racism can take many forms, such as jokes, comments and exclusions that cause offence or hurt, sometimes
unintentionally; name-calling or verbal abuse; harassment or intimidation, and can often manifest through unconscious bias or prejudice.
