Epsom FC is delighted to announce four new coaching appointments for the 2016 season.

Women's

Following 20 years with Epsom FC, club veteran Brenton Ellis has been appointed as coach of our Women's team for 2016.

Ellis has been coaching teams at Epsom for over 5 years and has a great record in player development and implementing successful team structures. Well known to many, and already well regarded by the team, Ellis will look to draw on his achievements and success in coaching in recent years as he takes the reins of our senior Women's team. With experience coaching at BASL representative level, and significant experience at Epsom FC, Ellis will be looking at hitting the ground running when pre-season training for the team commences in January.

Ellis will be assisted in his role by the appointment of a new assistant coach, Jo Hill. With many years experience playing for the Club, and as one of the stalwarts of the Women's team, Hill will draw on her experience as a BASL representative coach to assist Ellis aim for success in 2016 and beyond.

The club thanks 2015 coach Tony Trimboli for his contribution to player development and recent success and we wish him luck in his future endeavours.

Youth (U18)

We are also delighted to announce the appointment of Ryan Pollard as coach of our Youth team in 2016.

Pollard was with Epsom FC for a number of years achieving great success - premierships, knockout cups and BASL representative championships. In 2013, he was coach of the Epsom FC Youth team.

In 2014, Pollard was appointed within the "National Premier Leagues" pathway, coaching NPL team Bendigo City FC U16's to third in the championships in 2015.

He was also one of the youngest ever coaches accepted to the exclusive "B" coaching licence in Victoria, and has been appointed as a technical coach to the FFV National Training Centre U15 team.

In 2016, Pollard will utilise his advanced coaching experience as he works with our Youth team to drive them towards BASL success.

Epsom FC is also pleased to announce that 2015 coach, Daniel Harper, has been retained within our coaching framework as Assistant Coach. The club believes this continuity will serve the club well, as Harper and Pollard work together to achieve exceptional player development and the greatest likelihood of success in a tough BASL Youth league.
