Surf Coast Update on Committee and Sponsors

Season 2017 sees Surf Coast Football Club introduce a new president with Steve Christou taking over from Darren Edginton.  Steve would like to thank Darren for all the hard work over the last three seasons.

Darren remains on the committee in the role of Treasurer.

It is an exciting time at the club with registrations across all teams expected to increase again this year with an estimated 400-450 players looking to join the club.

The club has also recruited some new faces onto the committee and now has a mix of parents, players both male and female and a wealth of experience, which will benefit the club.

The Club also thanks Westpac and Hayden Real Estate for sponsoring the Club the last few seasons but we are excited to announce two new sponsors in Bank of Melbourne and our new Major Sponsor in Barry Plant Real Estate.

Barry Plant were keen to be involved with a Club within the Surf Coast Community and whilst their are a lot of sports and Clubs available it was Surf Coast Football Club that attracted them the most with all players having a wonderful kit from KonQa with their logo on the front of the shirts of over 350 players!

We welcome our new sponsors and are delighted to keep our loyal sponsors including Shepherd Architects and our longest serving sponsor in Torquay Stockfeeds who have sponsored the Club in some capacity for 10 years.

The club continues to look for people who wish to contribute to its growth and this includes sponsors.  If your business is interested in sponsoring the club                                                                                email surfcoastinfo@gmail.com and someone will be in touch.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
