Free Coaching Courses for WMFC coaches and prospective coaches for 2018
WMFC have organised coaching courses for all 2017 and potential 2018 coaches and assistant coaches / managers.
These courses are FFA accredited and run by the Coaching Director from Capital Football, Phil Booth and his team.
They are FREE TO ALL WMFC COACHES. The club will pay your $125 registration fee.
All teams should have a qualified coach, that's the priority for the club, but we also realise that many of us get called on at the last minute, or our previous certificate has expired, or our players have moved up an age group to full field and need a different approach. Some of you may have even had the year off and are looking at helping out again. We have decided to be pro-active and get organised for the beginning of pre-season and grading sooner rather than later.
Two courses will be on offer
Skills Training 9 - 12 year olds
Game Training 13 - 17 year olds.
Dates; Thursday 2nd November, 9th November and 16th November
Waramanga playing fields
6pm - 9pm.
This is usually a 2 day, 14 hour course, but we are able to do it over 3 nights. Teams for U12's may want to consider game training now you are moving to full field.
You dont have to have played football before to attend. If you know that your team from this year is losing their coach then please feel free to pass this on to somebody who is interested and prepared to commit to a WMFC team in 2018. Managers who wish to be able to fill in at training and on game day with a little bit more knowledge under their belt, should also register to come to the course.
You can register by following the links below or by going to the Capital Football website.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
