Banff AFL 10s Tournament a Huge Success

With excellent weather, and a little snow on the peaks, there couldn't be a more perfect backdrop for a game of footy. Fortunately, the quality of football lived up to the conditions.

With over 100 players in attendence, and teams travelling from as far as Edmonton and Vernon, it was a cracking day. We also had three local Bow Valley teams, with plenty of local (and vocal) support in the stands.

The Hawks ended up victorious, overcoming the Kingfishers in a tight and physical contest to round out the day.

A special thanks to the coaches, volunteers, and supporters who came out. Again, a huge thanks to Peter 'Doc' Dinnick for volunteering his whole Saturday to officiate the games.

We'll see you again next year Bow Valley!
