MASTERS MATTERS 5TH JULY 2017

Masters Matters 5th July 2017.

Brothers and Sisters of the Sherrin,

I hope all are well and enjoying the footy season. A struggle to pick form at the moment with some wild outcomes but that makes the competition the more interesting. We have plenty happening in our world so let’s get into it.

...

Training:

It is on again down at the Tigers at 6pm Wednesday so if you can get away would be great if you can support the boys as they get ready for the Gold City Cup in Charters Towers. Sunday is on at 10 at the Tigers and we know about the v8’s. How about a quick training run then down to Reid Park to watch the action. This would make for one great day.

Charters Towers:

Still looking for players and helpers can you let me know if you can play or assist on the day. The Whitsunday boys are all organised and keen as mustard. If you are having transport or accommodation issues let us know to see if there are any options that may suit. We have the State President coming up so it would be good to put on a good show. They are looking over the guys going to Geelong so it won’t hurt to be ready. We are there just as importantly to support the local junior competition, expand the brand into RL territory and have a great time ourselves. Every single one of these are great causes. Be part of something important.

News from around the Grounds:

We have a couple of the guys purchasing homes this past week. Jason and Lisa Vine have picked up another home closer to town to give Jason some extra work and Super Mac and Tukana have brought a home out at Bushie well done guys. I lose one drinking partner and gain another. Brett Starkey is overseas doing his best to protect the country, thanks mate and make sure you come back safe.

National Carnival:

Registrations are still open for the National Carnival in Geelong so if you are going now is the time to register. Get onto the MAFLQ web site and follow directions from there. The sooner you are registered the easier it is for coaches to start sort that end of the program. Help these guys to help you so to speak.

That is it for now if you have any questions or issues let me know and will try to follow up as best as I can. In the meantime stay safe, keep living the dream and talk soon.

Mozza

Some good news to report with Mauries eyes coming along welll. His mirror is already telling him he looks good.
