Social Calendar: Humber BBQ, Ottawa Footy Trip, Dingo's Family Day and AFL Grand FInal Party

July and August is one hectic time of year on and off the field at Dingoland. We miss our Backpackers Hostel this year but we’ve had a bunch of other great events to fill the void. Every event requires organizing. So make sure you RSVP by the said date as set by the Social Committee. Here’s a list of events coming up so that every Dingo player and family member can join in the fun. Don’t miss out!

Humber BBQ, July 26: burgers, cold beverages and football. All welcome!

Ottawa Road Trip, Aug.9: An important match for the Dingos Football Club. As the season hangs in the balance, it’ll be an ‘all-hands-on-deck approach to this weekend. Players will drive down Saturday morning (although a team bus has been talked about), with the game at 2pm. Hotel check in around 5pm at Les Suites. Then dinner and the rest of the night in the Market District.

Toronto Dingos Football Club Family Day, Aug.23: Family members, kids, alumni all welcome. A great opportunity for past players and current family members to enjoy a beer and some food while watching the football. Details yet to be determined but champagne for the ladies is on the cards.

AFL Grand Final Party, Sept. 26: Still some time away but one of the biggest events on our calendar. We get 400+ patrons locked in at the Sports Café on St.Clair (near Yonge) in what is a truly brilliant night for footy fans or folks curious about the sport. Organizing has already begun for this cracker of a night.

Post AFLO season events: Dingo’s Awards Night, The 2014 Football Trip, NFL-Buffalo Day Trip, Dingo’s Trivia Night, Halloween and Christmas Drinks.

If you have any questions about any Dingo’s event (or have an idea for one) email the Social Committee: Tom Bell (tom_r_bell@hotmail.com ) and or Gary Conlon (conlongary@yahoo.com).

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
