D.Wells (100) and T.Bell (50) to reach milestones against Wildcats

It's a double-whammy this weekend. And the perfect reason why Dingos should bring home a win.

Dave Wells and Tom Bell, two Canadian leaders of the Toronto Dingos Football Club, will clock up milestones against the Hamilton Wildcats in their do-or-die final in Hamilton this weekend.

"Wellsy" will play his 100th game for the club, taking him well past brother's Spider (62) and Bryans' (51) achievements. "TB" was actually named in the round 14 wash-out against Hamilton (and was officially meant to be his 50th), but will step out onto Mohawk Park for the 50th time for the Dingos.

Wellsy started with the club back in 2006 and made an impact that year, winning the best clubman award. Since then, he took on a heap of behind-the-scenes roles, such as club vice president (three years: 2009, 2011-12*) which he currently holds and president of the OAFL. In 2010 he polled well and finished the season 3rd (Canadian) in the best and fairest. He continues to be the "club guy" and will do unselfish tasks such as washing the uni's, taking the water bottles and footballs and the stretches at the start of training dubbed "Wellsy's Stretches". He's a club leader and veteran and has been one of the important cogs in the backline this season and the type of bloke you want around your club. He's known for ordering three-cheese pizzas at the Sports Cafe on pub nights. It became his staple dish and had a running streak of three or four years; almost as long as Stewy's "wing" streak.

Tom Bell joined the Dingos in 2009 and hailed a rugby background. Right away his tackling was a force to be reckoned with as he nailed anyone and everyone on the field. He continues to get better with each season which is evident in the annual vote count.  In 2009 he finished 3rd in the best and fairest (Canadian) and 2nd in both 2010 and 2011. This season he's been on fire and will go close to claiming his first best fairest trophy for his roles in the ruck and up forward. Like Wellsy this year, he's led from the front with his training ethic and on-field performances.

On behalf of the Toronto Dingos Football Club, we thank you boys for your contribution and look forward to Saturday's final where hopefully we can knock off Hamilton Wildcats!
