One of the most reliable and consistent Canadians in the AFLO, Mike joined the Dingos as a high-school student in 2001 and is now one of the longest-tenured active players for the Dingos.
Through his many years with the club, Mike has become one of the most effective defenders the Dingos have ever had, using his natural athletic ability to shut down the opposition. Playing almost exclusively at fullback, Mike has still managed to kick 26 goals in his career.
In 2015, Mike is closing in on the 100 game mark for the club, a special achievement. He previously won the Stewart Award (Best & Fairest) in 2008, is a two-time winner of the Coach's Award (2005 and 2008), and served on the Executive in 2015. He was named to the AFLO AllStar team in 2009, and has represented Canada, playing for the Northwind for a number of years, including competing in the International Cup in Australia.
