Tim Johnson the retiring Captain has done a sensational job on and off the field for the past three years.  He always puts the success of the Team and the Club ahead of his personal desires.  This, along with his 10 years of service and four Grand Finals he was awarded the Club's highest honour, A life Membership, at the AGM in December.

Tims's continuing role with the Leadershipo Group and the Captains is very important given that we have four new and young faces.

We all Congratulate Lachie Johns, the 17th Senior Captain we have had in the EFL other than Coaches. He is another home grown player, like Tim Johnson, and will be an outstanding leader into the future.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
