We also had the services of young Joey Fisher from Box Hill another of our former juniors. Whilst mentioning ex Juniors, how good is Mitch Honeychurch going at the Bulldogs. The better players last week were Kyle Emley, Bernie Dinneen, Sam Anson, Connor McCafferty, Wade McConnon, Liam Wale-Buxton, Daniel Mendes and Shane Davidson. Injuries had decimated our Reserves and although they failed to get a win, they certainly gave it everything. The Better players were Nathan Jumeau , Cal McConnon, Nick. Mendes, James Shambrook, Christian Vassis, Sam Wadley and Matt Garvin. The Under 19’s also had to have lots of changes and then had five injured during the game ending with 17 on the ground. However they were sensational and produced another comfortable win. Better players Bailey Freeman, Callum. Mendes, Lewis Neate, Ned Coghlan, Dylan Court and Mitch Chappell. The big story was the Forest Hill Eagles who also were feeling the pinch, but put in a mighty effort to down top side Warrandyte. Well done to David Knight and the boys. Tonight we have the Players Auction in the very popular Teams format introduced last year. Stats about 6.30 tonight and we look forward to plenty of involvement from our Supporters who have to be pretty impressed so far with what is happening. Next Saturday Night week we have Poker Night. A new idea to get players and supporters together. We are looking for tables of eight. For more info and booking see Rodney Haynes 0408548000. If you have Pre Season Raffle tickets etc, please try and get proceeds and butts back to Brian Power.   Go Eagles
