Kris Bardon’s  Back to Back Chandler Medal win assure him a place in EFL history, but also gives the Club five wins in five years.

Kris had difficulties early in the year after surgery in summer and struggled to get back to his 2008 form.  He found himself starting in defence to avoid the inevitable tagger, as opposition had worked out that the combination of Bardon, Greig and Froud would destroy them.

Like a true Champion, Kris found a way back and finished the season in fine style and we started to see those perfect passes to the forwards we have been used to over the past 5 years.

His final series, although not counting for the Chandler Medal, were outstanding and he played a major role in a season that will long be remembered.   Bardo’s off field work also contributed to the players reversal of form earlier in year and the resolve that this group of players could go all the way.

Well done Bardo !!.  We are very proud if you .
