Woori Yallock has kept themselves in touch with the top three after a solid win over 2nd placed Wandin. The first quarter was tight with only two goals being kicked and a one-point lead to Wandin. Woori Yallock had most of the ball in the second term and kicked 3.6 to 1.1 to take a 16-point lead into the main break. Wandin had advantage of any wind in the third quarter and kicked 2.5 to 3.1 but could not convert when it was needed. Inaccuracy was the order of the day as Woori Yallock kicked 2.5 to 3.2 in the last but managed to hang on and come away with a celebrated win.

They maintained their composure in the second quarter and extended their lead to five goals at half time. They shot 14 goals to 11 in the third term and the lead was now eight goals, and it was going to be hard work for Wandin from here. Wandin could not match it in the last.
