Finally a good day for footy, the weather was great and made for an excellent day

This weekend we welcomed back past premiership players from 1988 which was great to see them here.

The day kicked off with our Senior Women’s against Chirnside Park. Playing on the big ground was always going to be a test, but they were in it until half time. Unfortunately the second half Chirnside just had too much run and simply outplayed the ladies. With one game to go at home next, weeks let’s get down and support as much as we can.

There was no under 19s this week due to Doveton not having the numbers. However, a number of them got to have a run in the reserves
The reserves fielded a number of senior players returning from injuries and it was great to see them get through unscathed. The game was one sided with the boys coming away with a 135 point win with some excellent stand out performances Nathan Hoppwood returning from a long term injury and Luke Marchetti returned firing.

The seniors this week also saw the return of a few injured players and from the start dominated proceedings against a well undermanned Doveton. Credit due to Doveton who have had a very tough year though. However, it was great to see the boys just simply dominate and play a high quality brand of footy

Next week we are at Holm Park again for our last home game of the year so let’s get down and support against Tooradin where this will possibly be the last time we face off against them.

Thanks for the ongoing support
