LEAGUE MANAGER RESIGNATION
Albury Wodonga JFL and AFLNEB Female League Manager, Noeline Elvin has resigned and after 2 years with AFLNEB will finish on November 30th, 2018.
Over the past 2 years Noeline has overseen significant growth in Female Football which has seen an 83% increase in participation from 2017 to 2018 alone. Whilst this growth has come with its own unique challenges, Noeline has established a platform for the future of Female Football in the region. Through Noeline’s work, AFLNEB have been able to implement an operational framework, designed and implemented league rules and regulations and established an event schedule that all contribute to developing a culture for female participation.
In her role, Noeline has displayed a passion for the AWJFL personally investing in the league, its clubs, its executive and its brand which is evident through the leagues growing social media profile. In her time as manager of the AWJFL, Noeline has rewritten and formatted the By Laws, attracted new and increased sponsorship and leaves with the league in a strong position.
With a keen interest in Umpiring and football across the region, Noeline has also supported other AFLNEB staff in their roles which was again evident during TDFL Finals and at AFLNEB events. On behalf of the AFLNEB Commission and affiliated leagues and clubs we thank Noeline for her energies and efforts over the past 2 years and wish her well in her next venture.
