One of our very youngest players at SFNC will have a special milestone game this weekend. At the tender age of 13, Madeline Hall will play her 50th club game tomorrow vs Ardmona.
This is a seriously great achievement for Maddy, who I’ll say again. IS 13!
Maddy began playing with us with the Under 15s and an 11 year old in 2013 and also went on to feature in the 2013 Finals Series with the team. The following year, turning a tender 12, Maddy featured in the Under 15s team as well as multiple games for the Under 17s. Maddy was also fortunate enough to play in the Under 17s Finals campaign in 2014. Maddy’ strong season shone through as she finished Runner Up in the Under 15s Best and Fairest.
This year, another strong season is upon young Mad, she has been playing both Under 15s and 17s once again and loving the opportunity to gain experiences in the sport she loves.
Along with the playing both 15s and 17s, Maddy was selected to represent the KDFNL in the Under 15s Interleague game last weekend, which Maddy thoroughly enjoyed.
Maddy was drawn to play for Stanhope as her mum Sam is a past player and her dad Leigh currently still plays in the senior side. Her brother Braeden also plays U12s for the SGR Giants. It’s a family affair!
Another huge draw card for Maddy was the experienced netball coach and mentor Kerrie Gray. Kerrie has an absolute passion for the game and incredible commitment to junior development.
From everyone at the club, well done Maddy! Awesome achievement!
