U17's Gallant in defeat in the Grand Final

Our U17 boys went down by only 3 points in a great Grand Final battle against St Peters yesterday.

It was a close affair all day with the opposition scoring a goal in the dying minutes to seal victory. The boys however had a great year and did both Northvale and Waverley Park Hawks proud.

Our U17 team this year was a composite one including Northvale and Waverley Park Hawk boys and they are to be commended for the way they teamed and played together all year. All in all, a very successfully collaboration between our two clubs.

Thanks to WPH, well done to St Peters and especially well done to our Northvale boys!
