Terry Reserve - Defibrillator

Def Fib

In light of the story in today's Illawarra Mercury in relation to the very tragic death of Atony Stott at Thirroul's Gibson Park, Albion Park Soccer Club would like to make all our members and visitors aware of the position of our Clubs Defibrillator should it ever be required at Terry Reserve.http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/…/no-defibrillator-no-…/…

You will locate the Defibrillator in the Club House of Terry Reserve, situated near the senior's canteen door. There is signage on the wall above as per in images below.

Please take 15 minutes of your time to view the attached Lifepak CR Plus Defibrillator video which outlines very clearly how easy it is to operate the machine if ever it is needed. THIS MACHINE MAY POSSIBLY SAVE A LIFE. I strongly urge everyone to share this information.

Defibrillator for Terry Reserve

Defib 2

Albion Park Soccer Club is pleased to announce that our Club has purchased a Defibrillator for Terry Reserve.

Cardiac arrests are not just restricted to the elderly or high risk groups. A cardiac arrest can occur in children due to drowning or choking, receiving an electric shock, respiratory related medical conditions such as asthma and anaphylaxis, trauma, poison or congenital abnormalities.

Having a defibrillator on hand at Terry Reserve can make the difference in the first few minutes of a sudden cardiac arrest incident. They are easy to use, maintain and can save a life prior to ambulance arrival.

Our Club acknowledges the advantage of having easy access to automated external defibrillators wherever large groups of people gather, including sporting communities.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
