BREAKERS IN THE GRAND FINAL SUN 4TH SEPTEMBER

Two reasons there is one day in September we REALLY want to remember!

If your favourite AFL club didn't live up to your expectations this year and is set to miss the finals, please don't despair, your other favourite, the COOLUM BEACH BREAKERS AFL CLUB has come through with the goods for you.

On Sunday 4th September at 1.30pm our U17 Youth Girls team will take on Caloundra Panthers at Maroochydore Multisports Complex on Fishermans Road. Our U17s are a combined Coolum Noosa team and have played outstanding football all season and under coach John Duggan are red hot favourites to take out the 2016 Premiership. But football isn't just about the girls. The combined Noosa Coolum U17 Boys have also booked a spot in the grand final which kicks off at 2.45pm. They will be taking on Maroochydore who will have a home ground advantage, so we certainly need everyone to come and get behind them.

This is a huge deal for Youth Girls football and for the Coolum Football Club and we need as many Coolum Beach Breakers members, young, old and middle aged to head to Maroochydore in our Club shirts, hats, jumpers, socks,  and anything else with our club colours on it, in a massive show of support for our players in both of these teams. There's no better Fathers Day gift than watching your favourite team with the flag.

This year we also dust off the David Ward trophy, the Breakers equivalent of the Norm Smith Medal, which will be awarded at our Clubs presentation day on 11th of September. Come and see for yourself who the contenders for this prestigious award are.

This is a call out to all Breakers Members. Be there to witness quality football like you've never seen. Be there to witness greatness. Be there to witness the one day in September we really want to remember.

Bring on the sea of red, white and blue!

Go Breakers!!!
