UNDER 11s ROUND OUT SEASON WITH 11 GOAL WIN

What a great year our Breakers Under 11s enjoyed with some fantastic results and great player improvement as they stormed to a 11 win/3 loss 2016 AFL Season!

And what a great way to bid farewell to the year with a big win - including an awesome 6 goals to 0 third quarter - up at the competition's most picturesque ground at the foot of the mountain at Pomona.

And I reckon the players thought that having Pizza, lemonade and chips back at the Coolum Lions Park after the game was a pretty big treat as well :)

Despite the many highlights at Pomona - including Kale's 50th game, Cooper's high flying marking attempt, Will's awesome angled goals, great performances from Hudson, Max, Jack C, Sam, Adam (including a huge 3rd 1/4 playing for the Demons) Noah and Cooper - I think the biggest highlight was Glen going through all our 26 players and choosing their season highlights, best games and who in the AFL they most resemble with Kale/Hayden Ballantine a favorite :)

We are so lucky to have the wonderful, positive Glen Farrow coaching our Breakers who not only teaches the skills but the joy of playing team sport, and to have someone with such great knowledge and respect in Roger Delaney as his support coach - our Breakers Under 11s are the luckist players in the League.

Big thanks to Jacqui Delaney, Matt Piggott, Vanessa, Toby and all the wonderful parents who chipped in to make sure that we always presented as an organised and professional club with every base covered.

To have 26 Breakers rotate around 15 positions on the oval most weeks, and to retain every one all season with a smile on their face is a remarkable achievement.

Well done Coolum Beach Breakers Under 11s of 2016 - you had a great season!
