2016 marks 150 years of AFL in QLD and AFL QLD are inviting everyone to come and celebrate the anniversary on Sunday 3rd July with a PICNIC IN THE PARK at the Brisbane City Botanical Gardens which is the site of the 1st game of footy in 1866. 

There will be live music, historical footy displays, hot dogs, wood fired pizzas, the AFL inflatable playground, snow cones, face painting and balloon twisting. A big feature of the day will be the Worlds Biggest Junior Clinic with up to 500 children expected to participate across 4 FREE sessions. 

So get your friends and family together and head to Brisbane for the day to be part of it. A great fun time for all families during the school holidays.
