ROYS

Our little Roys are going from strength to strength each week. New found confidence is slowly emerging in between a few bear hugs with their mates while the ball is at the other end of the ground. Always a good laugh from the crowd when the kids are noted to be rolling around on the ground play wrestling, laughing their heads off. Their kicks and handpasses are getting better each week.

U8 White versus U8 Blue

The U8 boys and girls participated in the final local derby for the season. It was so great to see the improvement in all of the players. There were som great kicks, handballs and team work displayed today.

Well done to all our Coolum Breakers.

Took on arch nemesis Caloudra Panthers yesterday. They beat us at the last match up but this time the Breakers showed them our true fighting spirit and won the match with great team work.

Best on ground went to Ben H followed by Elwood F.

Coaches award went to Jasper S for strong attack at the ball, making hard tackles and applying shepherds for his team mates.

Parents award went to Ethan H who gave everything today.

Goals - Hudson G (2), Jasper S (1), Chaise (1), Ben H (1), and Ethan (1)

As a coach I couldn't have been prouder of the way the team worked together.

Well done boys. A fantastic win.

U14s

Were defeated by Caloundra by 66 points.

Goals - Zac D and Elijah

Best - Jaxon, Oliver, Darcy, Chaise, Lachie, Baxter, Max, Elijah, Bailey F, Noah, Ryan

In a big home game against our biggest rival, our Breakers played with massive courage and effort but were defeated by a bigger stronger Caloundra side.

Our tackle pressure was fantastic and the run out of defence was great to watch but we need to learn from some of our mistakes - keep doing the basics and always try our very best for all 4 quarters.

The hardest skill to acquire in this sport is the one here you compete all out, give it all you have and you are still getting beat no matter what you do. When you have the killer instinct to fight through that is very special.

Go Boys.

Be your very best and see you all at training.

U16s

Defeated Caloundra by 10 points.

U17YG

Were defeated by Hinterland Blues by 40 points.
