They had a great game against Noosa Blue today. Elija took out the last award before the holidays along with mark of the day. Well done to all the boys. Looking forward to what the boys can produce after the holidays.

U10 White

It was an overcast and muddy game at Northshore today. The white team, captained by Dione, played a strong game against a determined Jets side. Will and Alfie led the way in the midfield and Britney was solid in defence. As the game progressed, the midfield dominated and the goals followed. Well done to all! Congratulations to Alfie and Britney for receiving player awards this week. Enjoy a well deserved break. We look forward to a great second half of the season.

U10 Red

We played against Pomona in a heavy dew. It was a gutsy effort by the boys today. They worked super hard in defence all day. Jackson put on an amazing smother to stop a shot at goals, well done buddy. The boys were a bit unlucky in front of the goals, however they matched them in the midfield. Awards went to Austin and Bodhi. We hope everyone enjoys a few weeks off.

After being offered big contract extensions to play out the rest of the year this weeks hard negotiations paid off. U10 Blue played with every bit of confidence taking great marks layung text book tackles and kicking the footy so far their kicks would have cleared wheat silos.

Upgraded to the leadership group this week with Jacks absence, Ky found a way to break the line. Oliver once again showed his polish around the goals while Remy Mac pulled in a memorable mark.

The teams tackling pressure was outstanding with Jai blowing the previous blues record. Raff and Levi were inspirational leaders bringing their team mates into the game at all possible chances.

Bryce once again showed why the club was working hard all week with his management playing with great skills throughout the game.

Josh and Remi B played their usual great games in whatever role was asked. Austin and Cooper threw themselves onto the ball at every chance leaving nothing for the opposition when the siren sounded at the end of the fourth quarter.

The mighty coolum blue walked off proud and ready for a much needed holiday break.

Team awards this week were presented to Bryce and Jai.

Well done Breakers!!!

U12 White

We managed to field a team of 14 to avoid a forfeit against Hinterland today. Hinterland made an impressive start and were in front by 3 points coming into the last quarter. Our boys dug deep in the final quarter and we all witnessed a thrilling finish in the dying minutes to win by 3 points.

The boys played really well today with lots of great linkages, excellent disposals, constant pressure and their smiles and motivation were wonderful to see.

We had some spectacular improvement by a number of players whose confidence is now booming. Best on ground went to Cassidy with runner up to Isaac. They both stepped up 150% and made a real difference to the team work. The coaches award went to Rex who displayed more hunger and heart than we have ever witnessed before and won the ball at crucial times. Isaac was also nominated by the parents as BOG.
