TRIVIA NIGHT FUNDRAISER SUCCESS

For those that were able to attend our first Club Fundraiser Trivia Night last weekend we do hope you had a wonderful fun evening. There are loads of photos on our website to enjoy under the folder TRIVIA NIGHT 2018.

We had a total of 94 adults and 83 kids attend the evening.

The Purple Copper Restaurant at The Peregian Springs Golf Club did an amazing job feeding us such yummy food.

We had a newly formed band "Wade and the Breakers"  who wowed us with their musical talents which just so happened to be lead by the one and only Breakers President Dean Blackborough along with Adam Niven and Sean. Who knew our president was so very talented?? Go Deano!!!

The Ground Marshalls for the evening did a superb job entertaining the kids - Charlie Ayton, Molly Powell, Josh Powell, Alice Ayton, Ahlea Skipper, Maddie Blackborough and Lilah Scrivener. The ground marshalls were lead by Dani Blackborough.

The winners of the Trivia Night Trophy were aptly named EINSTEINS. Looks like you guys are the ones to beat next year. One clever bunch of people on that table.

The wooden spooners were ironically named WINNERS. Maybe next year guys and gals.

Damien Snell was our brilliant MC and was closely supported by his wife Shoshana who was the brains behind the trivia questions. You two are a formidable team.

We were fortunate enough to have several of our sponsors attend the event - Agent 4573, Skipper Plumbing, QLD Yoghurt and HSCS. Without your support our club would not survive. Thank you!

We hope all our raffle winners enjoy their prizes. There certainly were some great prizes to be won.

In total we raised an astounding $2877 for the Breakers Club. This is phenomenal considering the event was all pulled together in 3 weeks.

We also were able to make a $200 donation to The Go fund Me Page  "support the armstrongs" which was a fundraiser for the Sunshine Coast family of the little girl Indie Rose Armstrong who was 6 years old and killed recently in a tragic accident in a car park in Nambour.

There are so many people and businesses to thank but the main drivers behind this event have been 3 hardworking women who deserve alot of praise. Brooke Kleinschmidt, Sally Munn and Dani Blackborough we are truley thankful to have you as part of our club.

We also would like to thank our members for supporting this inaugural event. Without your support these sorts of club events cannot be successful, so thank you. We hope you had a super fun time. Bring on next years Club Fundraiser.
