We had a bit of music to get the kids warm and ready to play today. WOOF WOOF who let the dogs out??? And since our warm ups are so much fun we invited Noosa to join in as well. Wonderful to see the kids all just getting in and having fun. Lots of good defence from our little tackers as they are quickly learning how to stop their opposition. Goals a plenty and some hot chips or a hot dog to finish the morning off. Thank you to all the parents and families who support and encourage all the kids and help us make it an enjoyable experience for the kids.

A supreme effort from the Reds against a taller Noosa Red side. The boys played their best game yet as a team. Great to see Harris and Jett taking some awesome marks. The team worked well together in defense and left Noosa Red goal less in the third quarter. The midfield dominated the second quarter with Oscar's fantastic tackling and Henry winning the tap outs. Lucas and Jett received awards this week for their strong performances, well done. A massive thank you to Paul for coaching thr boys and all the parents who helped set the grounds, wash the guernseys, cut the fruit and work behind the goals. Well done Coolum Red an awesome effort today.

U10 White v U10 Blue

The focus at training this week was for the players to find courage within themselves to attack the ball without fear. They delivered truck loads!!! From the first bounce, the whites attacked the blue team and the ball with relentless pressure. The captain of the round James opened the scoring with a left foot snap. Will, Xavier and Alfie put in strong performances. It was great to see the white team play as one and maintain intensity and pressure for four quarters. Congratulations to Tom and Kai for receiving player awards today. Well done to Wals team for a great contest.

And a huge thank you to our very own Molly for umpiring the Derby.

U12 White

Defeated Maroochydore Roos by 61 points.

Goals - Sam 3. Jaymi 2, Jack 2, Noah and Darcy 1 each

Best - Darcy, Max, Bailey F, Jaymi, Elijah, Sam, Jaxon, Jack, Baxter, Noah, Oliver

A solid win against the Roos at home. Great to see a few boys really stepping up and going hard for the ball. Windy conditions meant a few missed shots at goal. Congratulations to our first gamer Hugh and also to Jack White on kicking 2 fantastic goals! Thanks to all our helpers and we look forward to our clash at Kawana next week.

Versed Maroochydore Gold and were defeated by 60 points.

It was another interesting night at the footy on Friday. We had to give Noosa two of our players so we could consitute a game. It was nine on nine. Wide open spaces everywhere. Our girls dominated the majority of the game. Maybe our girls that are from Noosa had difficulties playing against their Noosa friends. It was an action packed game. We got up 56-45. Well done girls.
