ROUND THREE WRAP UP

Congratulations to all our teams this week. All photos submitted can be found on our website in the ROUND THREE 2018 folder.

A massive thank you to our army of volunteers who made our first home game for the season a resounding success. And did you all get to try something from our new canteen menu?? Brooke and Dani and their helpers worked tirelessly bringing a fresh new vibe to the canteen and some wonderfully delicious eats and treats. Congratulations ladies. But none of this would have eventuated without our illustrious leader Dean who has given up every spare second of his life of late to ensure the breakers community is flourishing. We are all truley grateful for your hardwork, passion and dedication. Thank you to our leader.

Another great day for footy, albeit a little windy. The boys are improving every week with a lot of handballs and kicking to each other happening. We played Noosa Gold and scored 4 goals and 6 points. Well done team. This weeks player of the match  went to Ky who had a cracker of a game kicking the goal of the day and showing great sportsmanship. Tate was a great captain and thank you to his dad for bringing the oranges.... to say they went quickly would be an understatement.

Defeated by Kawana Park Eagles by 90 points. The players showed alot of heart and hunger for the ball and it was evident through every quarter of the match. The score line did not match the similar level of skills displayed between the teams. Our lads were very proud with their heads held high congratulating each other for working as a team and giving every thing they had.

Players of the match - Cooper and Dylan

Coachs award - Hudson (captain of the day)

Highlight - a couragious and athletic leaping mark in the back pocket to save a sure goal came from Finn.

Was defeated by Caloundra Panthers by 33 points. On a Long weekend and in windy conditions Coolum started with 14 players and were topped up by Caloundra players. Coolum played a tough, even and hard fought game, holding the lead at quarter time, but in the end went down by 5 goals.
