Big Weekend of Footy Before School Hols Break
Don't know if we've ever had a bigger hour of Breakers footy at CHS than Sunday at 9am when ourUnder 6's took on Caloundra, our Under 8's enjoyed the local Red V Blue Derby and our Under 10's faced off in a derby as well!
Our Mighty Under 6's returned refreshed from their bye with a full team and boy were they zipping around oval number 3 with fast legs, big kicks and good handpasses - not to mention Remy's "Mark of the Day".
Now its 3 weeks off to prepare for the run home and heaps more fun playing AFL on a Sunday

In the Under 8 Derby it was the fully capped up Blues versus the Reds and wow what a high standard it was.
No just getting it and kicking it from these two sides - its always a player looking to pass or get the ball to a team mate and the marking skills were just fantastic.
The last few games after the holiday break could see some of the best Under 8 team football ever played - wow!
The all Breakers Under 10 Derby saw two teams who have been bouncing off Noosa and maroochydore teams all season, and keen to play against some mates and enjoy their footy.
And what a great game it was as players charged in for the footy and kicked the cover off it as they sent their team forward.
I think Kale may have scored it as a 1 point victory :) but the official scorer recorded it as a draw and the newspapers will have "all played well" in the best column.
Our Breakers Under 11s headed to North Shore to take on the Jets on a windy, windy morning under the flight path.
North Shore were a plucky opponent but Coolum still managed to dominate the scoreboard despite the fierce competition for each contest.
In the end our Breakers Under 11's won 111 to 0
Elijah and Baxter both kicked 4 goals and the midfield trio of Sam, Lachie and Connery drove the ball forward throughout the game.
From Andrew & Katie: Scores Coolum Beach 16.15 (111) dftd North Shore 0.0
Goal kickers: Baxter 4, Elijah 4, Jack 3, Max 2 (plus 1), Noah 2, Lachie 1, Connery 1
Best: Baxter, Jack, Max, Elijah, Connery, Lachie and Beau
It was another good effort from this team - enjoy the holiday break guys.
Our Under 13's headed to Nambour to take on a Blues team with 1 more win for the season and the home ground advantage.
Unfortunately our 13s couldnt get over the home team with a 58 to 22 loss the end result.
Nambour were short so we loaned them Nathan Evitts, Declan McKinven and Jack Elsley who all played really well.
Best Players: Zane Harrison, Dash Myers, Tanner Griffiths, Jake Tolhoek, Zach Genn, Joel Sydney/Lachie Astley
Goals: Lachie Astley 2, Tanner Griffiths 1
Back at Breakerland, our second placed Under 15s took on fifth placed Gympie and in the end it was a strong 104 to 32 win to Coolum
Cooper McIntosh, Harry Burke & Jessie Bouyong all played for Gympie to help out and did a great job - in the end we all want competitive matches so our Breakers can enjoy and grow each game
Best: Connor Crofts, Tom Evitts, Declan McLeod, JG Noeth, Ben Dixon
Our fourth placed Under 15 Girls headed to North Shore with a huge challenge against the undefeated top side in the competition in the Jets.
At quarter time it looked like the Jets were the stronger team but Coolum had scored a goal and were having a real crack, while using the ball well too.
In the end the Jets won 80 to 18, but once again Coolum added two new young players - the Fleming twins - and battled valiantly.
Our Under 18 Girls were due to host Gympie at 10am at Breakers HQ, and Coolum dominated the match with a comprehensive 93 to 4 win - well done girls!
