ROOS STRIVE FOR GREAT COACHES

While we have always had great coaches here at the Roos, in 2019 the Pres & Committee are eager to develop our coaches more than any club ever has - all to the benefit of our Mighty Roos junior players.

Funds will be spent on supporting coaches to attend courses and seminars throughout 2019 to make them the best they can be.

And it all starts this weekend with some of our Under 14 to Under 17 coaches attending an AFLQ Level 2 Coaching Course in Brisvegas.

Full marks to AFLQ as well in that Level 2 courses now differentiate between Youth coaches (U14-18) to Junior Coaches (U8-12) inb the type of course they deliver.

In year's past, an Under 8 coach would sit next to an Under 18 coach and they were taught the same stuff (!) so its great to hear that our Youth coaches will come back with some terrific learnings and drills ready to start the 2019 season off in great style.

And a big congrats to our coaches for giving up their time to upgrade their skills.
