Futsalroos Return From Uzbekistan… What Next For Grant Lynch

Catching up with UTS Northside’s Grant Lynch on his experience of the last three weeks of competition in Uzbekistan he said:

"Just finished one of the most amazing experiences of my life. To play and score for my country and be a part of an amazing group of lads that qualified for a FIFA Futsal world cup in Colombia has been an absolute honour. All the support I have received over the past month has been amazing and I am so happy to be able to represent UTS northside and my area at the highest level.

I want to thank my family and friends who have been ever present in my futsal career so far and hopefully there are still plenty more experiences I can share with you all.

I want to especially thank Shane Watson, Jamie Amendolia & Simon Keith for the time they have invested to help me learn the sport over these past 6 years.

It has been an absolute pleasure and I hope I can get another chance to show you all that I have what it takes to be part of the national team for many years to come"

When asked about what next, Grant said that:

“Next objective for me is to continue my form into the upcoming F-League season with my club East Coast Heat, with the ultimate goal of being part of the World Cup squad going to Colombia in September"

Go the Futsalroos...
