U17 Pre Tournament Training starts Thursday 9th Feb 2017

Pre-tournament training for the Auckland City FC 2017 U17 Youth Football Tournament

All male players born between 1st Jan 2000 and 31st Dec 2002 are invited to attend pre-tournament training starting this Thursday, 9th February, at 5pm at Crum Park.

The U17 tournament is held at Seddon Fields in Auckland, from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th March, 2017.more

Waitakere City FC back Trickett family fund

Waitakere City FC are rallying behind Kyran Trickett as the Lotto NRFL Division 1 champions back plans to support his bid to play at the Dallas Cup 2017.

Craig Trickett tragically passed away as the result of an accident on Sunday 14 August while travelling to a fund raising event for Kyran and his 15th Grade football team.more

Rescheduled Fixtures Advisory

As the season starts to draw to a close, AFF have rescheduled over 400 games across all ages and divisions. Auckland Council will take back the bulk of the grounds after the 27th-28th August and will then be closed for maintenance to prepare for the summer season. AFF still have limited access to some grounds to allow the completion of most Championship matches.more

Sad passing of the founder of Blockhouse Bay Soccer Club

The members of Bay Olympic would like to offer their sincere condolences to the Phipps family at the passing of George Phipps. George was the founder of Blockhouse Bay Soccer Club in 1948 which after 50 years was amalgamated with Green Bay Titirangi to form Bay Olympic in 1998.more

ACYF Tournament – Bay Olympic U/17 Boys

Congratulations to the boys who played in the ACYF Football Tournament Friday through Sunday. This tournament over the last few years has developed into a national tournament with the best sides and players from over the country entering. In the Boys Tournament Bay were one of 24 teams and after 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in pool play found themselves in the playoff for 9th to 16th.more

We had three vandals/thieves break into the Bay Olympic AFC in Portage Rd early on Sunday evening - please look at the photos below - they have caused a lot of damage breaking in but thankfully also done a "great job" of identifying themselves.

On Sunday Bay Olympic Lions 11th grade prems headed to Papakura City toplay in a 16 teamtournament. We were placed in Pool C and our first game we were paired with Buckland's Beach Hughes and in a tight game on a bumpy pitch we managed to win 1-0 with a goal from our Lions captain Max Hancock.more

Crum Park Turf - Footwear, Nets & Flag Post Reminders

Youth football teams playing half size fields, please promptly remove the net and shift the goal posts to the corner nearest the tennis courts.
If you are the last game of the day, please ensure you put the corner flag posts away in the storeroom.

ONLY wear moulded sole boots or blades. Flat soles and metal sprigs damage the turf and are not permitted.more

Time Keeping

Please make every endeavour to conclude your game within the allocated time slot. If you do not, the games after become progressively delayed. If there is a problem or incident that is likely to cause a small delay, please discuss with the manager of the team due to follow you.more

If you are the first team to play at Avondale Racecourse, you need to collect half nets from the clubrooms during office hours or Wednesday nights 7.30pm - 8.30pm (by prior arrangement only). Bay Olympic ACYF 17th Grade Girls Tournament Results Pack above their Weight

On Sunday the Girls team beat Coastal Spirit 2-1, the same team that they unfortunately lost to on Day One (Friday). The football they played on Friday should have produced a win and today they cut out the mistakes and fully deserved to win.
