Leonie's hair today, gone on 1st December.

Papatoetoe AFC reserves player and grade 17 captain Leonie Kerr is shaving her hair off to raise money for cancer.

Leonie is hoping to raise $2,000 for charity and the amount raised so far is just over $1,300, so there is still plenty of fundraising to go and every little helps.

We spoke with Leonie who said 'This is something I’ve always wanted to do and now I finally get the chance to do it and can help people at the same time. Throughout my life I have known many who have been affected by cancer, and would like to help support those in similar situations through the fundraising which I am doing.

So if you would like to donate then just visit www.leonie.nz, and please share this link with your family and friends to spread the word! Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!'

Rodney Wayne hairdressers (Botany) will be shaving all her hair off on Tuesday 1st December at 4pm and you can donate online by visiting Leonie's cancer society page at: www.leonie.nz
