Celebrating Success Together

Last week Takapuna Grammar Girls 1st 11 attended the National Secondary Schools Competition in Taupo. It was a very busy week for the girls with 8 games in 5 days. They finished a very credible 4th place - losing their semi final 2-0 to the eventual winners Mt Albert Grammar. 9th Grade Juventus Compete in Birkenhead Tournament

Alan Carrick

We learned the sad news that Alan Carrick passed away on Friday 27th June. Alan was 84 years old and was a long time supporter of North Shore United for over 30 years, he was also the unofficial groundsman at North Shore for many years. There will be a memorial service for Alan at Allen Hill club rooms on Monday 7th July at 2.00pmmore

Duncan Cole 1958 - 2014

It is with great sadness that we heard the news of Duncan's passing a few days ago.

Colesy (as he was affectionately known), joined North Shore United from Birkenhead in the 1970's (as a 19 year old) and played for the club through the National League era, (between 1978 and 1988) and played in the team that won the Chatham Cup in 1986...more

Second Hand Gear

A reminder that we do operate a "boot swap" at the club and we currently have a variety of second hand boots available - you can either bring down your old boots that no longer fit in exchange for another pair that do, or choose a pair in return for a small donation to the club. We also have a limited supply of second hand shorts and socks available. Please contact Alice on 445 7087.more
