AFL Queensland - PICNIC IN THE PARK

About Picnic in the Park

On Sunday July 3 AFL Queensland will host a PICNIC IN THE PARK at the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, site of the first game of footy in 1866.

We are inviting all Queenslanders to roll out the picnic rugs and join us for a relaxing day in the gardens with family and friends.

There will be live music, historical footy displays, hot dogs and wood fired pizzas and we’ll have the AFL Inflatable Playground, snow-cones, face painting and balloon twisting for kids.

A feature of the day will be The World’s Biggest Junior Clinic; with up to 500 children expected to participate across four, free sessions.

As part of that junior AFL club with the most registered participants on the day will receive a $1000 voucher from HART Sport.

Many thanks

AFL Queensland
