Great People is what makes a great club.
This was never more visible than last Saturday when the Club Committee had a pre-season working bee. Leading from the front was local Electrician Peter Strickland for the Power Doctors. Nothing was too much trouble for Peter, shifting power points in the refurbished kitchen, putting new lights in the change rooms and toilets, doing over and above what was expected! Also lending his personal tools to the many volunteers for whatever use they needed. Thanks Peter!!
This was a magnificent working bee, with the club clean and ready to go for the new season. A big thank you to our dedicated Committee and hard working volunteers!!
Club spirit and community awareness is what makes small clubs like ours great!!
