Boutique Meats is one of few butcher shops offering the finest meats that Australia has to offer, allowing us to combine traditional preparation standards, professional staff and our signature quality cuts.
After building on some good form in recent weeks we played Jindalee at home looking to continue our good run. In recent weeks we have been working as a group to share the ball through handball and play with more speed and despite some wet conditions we continued our improvement in this area.
With a settled back 6 for much of the year we again managed to hold our opponents scoreless with Ben, Xavier, Lachlan S, Max, Isaac and Zohsi working well as team. The boys were well assisted by our on ballers again showing a willingness to work back in support of the backline. The boys willingness to work as a defensive unit has led to an average of 11 points a game being kicked against for them for the year which is a great effort after 11 games.
With Will B and Myles getting their hands on the ball in the ruck our on midfield provided some quick ball to the forwards and opportunities to score. Once again their willingness to do the team things allowed us to lock the ball in the forward line and provided repeat shots at goal. The boys are working really well together and showing a team first mind set a real credit at this age group, well done Aidan, Owen, Jai, Ollie, Will B, Myles & Dylan.
The forward line has been getting better each week with our quick half forwards in Lachlan W, Eli & Patty (cameo) tackling hard and working up and down the ground. This has created plenty of space for Will G to lead up the ground from full forward with Cooper and Will R crumbing goals and creating forward pressure.
Player of the week goes to the ultra consistent Jai Dekker.
Overall a great team effort as we continue to build towards our first finals campaign.
Final score Kenmore 6.11.47 to Jindalee 0.0.0
Best- Jai Dekker, Eli Silver, Dylan Eberston, Maxx Bacon, Isaac Lihou
