Reservoir NO match for Hills

UNDER 19's (Nev Jarram)

PH: 6.4.40 def by Mill Park 10.17.78

On a beautiful winters evening we hosted 4th placed Mill Park in our first home game for a month. The boys were very competitive but realistically inaccurate kicking from Mill Park kept us in the game. During time-on in the third term we were a point up… enter the wind and hail. A few of our guys must’ve got hail damage as we went away from our game style and let them kick two quick goals. It was very frustrating for all to see this lapse in concentration when we had worked so hard. Mill Park gained all the momentum and kicked 4.4 to 2pts in the last term to run away with the match. The boys are starting to put a sustained effort in and improving with every game. Thanks to James Cummane for his efforts and leadership this year. He is off to the USA but will be back for the last couple of games. Enjoy your holiday James.
This week we are away at Mernda so let’s hit the track with some purpose and keep improving.

RESERVES (Lucas Brass)

RESERVOIR: 12.15.87 defeated PH: 5.1.31

We headed to Reservoir with the chance to put us in a positive position on the ladder. Unfortunately we couldn’t get up for the occasion and got over run on the big ground. Well done to Reservoir.

SENIORS (Steve Layt)

RESERVOIR: 3.2.23 def by PH: 5.1 22.17.149

Our boys were on today from the opening bounce and apart from a lapse in the 3rd quarter we pretty much dominated play. Our back 6 were strong all day with Luke Ericson and Jackson Mill teaming well with Brent Ryan and Mitch Anderson. The Parks brothers had good games along with Chops and Scotty Conte. Michael Higgins on the wing had his best game after a long break from footy. Tarco 5 goals, Boydo 4 goals and Matty Byron with 3 goals finished off the good supply from our midfield. The most pleasing aspect of the win was that we showed we are really starting to work for each other. That win now places us in second position on the ladder so we really need to consolidate that spot with a win against Laurimar at home. Click the link for the match highlights:
