BFNC Update

Hi all,

It has been few and far between any sort of update with the club and we apologize for this.

You see the thing is, we have all been very very busy at the club.

I'm not sure if you have heard but on Saturday the seniors  just won their 8TH GAME IN A ROW!!!  We are right up there in finals contention currently sitting 5th on the ladder.

This week we host Lancefield at home and hope to climb a few more spots on the ladder.  Our goal is to finish in the top 3!!

This week we also celebrate the reunion of the 1996 senior premiership , please find attached flyer for details.

In other grades for football, Reserves are travelling well currently sitting 5th on the ladder and well in finals contention.

U18.5 boys have been travelling well, they are sitting 6th on the ladder and will not claim the 4 points this week as Lancefield unfortunately can not fill a side .

Patrick Coppinger has been outstanding in the seniors the past few weeks and to think he is under 18 years old!!!  His efforts have been rewarded with an invitation to Calder Cannons.  Watch out for this name in the future!!!

Josh Vilinskis who is another young gun who has been a strong contributor to our senior side has been rewarded with his hard work and travelled up to Cairns with the AFL Goldfields squad.

Last week saw three players in  Lily Arnold (C grade) , Paris Duncan (U19) and Alyssah Chinball (U19) all make their A grade debut, and what a debut it was.  They all stepped up to the plate and played fantastic games against a super strong opponents in Top of the ladder Riddells Creek!

C Grade are currently sitting 6th on the ladder and our only finals contention for netball.

U19.5 girls are getting better and better each week, hoping to grab their first win before the season is out.

Saturday 13th August we host Wallan at home and Rebecca Hunter will playing her 200th netball game.  Rebecca will be the first netballer to notch up the 200!!!  What an achievement!!!
