Past Players Reunion Sat 14th June.

Dear Past Players and Supporters,

Make Sat 14th June your next trip to watch the ‘Nodders’ at Central Reserve. We are calling on all Past Players and Supporters to attend our Reunion day.

As you are probably aware we have formed a Mazenod Past Players and Supporters Association. We have a committee of 6 lead by Chris Belleville and including Drew O’Donoghue, Mark Grady, Tim Smith, Chama Jayaweera and Gerard Noone.

As part of our objectives we plan to organise an annual major reunion event away for the club and a lower key reunion event at the club each year. In March we  conducted out first Reunion event at the MCG and received extraordinary feedback.

We are now moving our focus to organising a Reunion event at the club. As a committee we have recommended that all Reunion events commence at 3.00pm and conclude around 6.30pm. This will encourage past players and supporters to see the current team and most importantly integrate with current club players and supporters after the game.

Additionally the 3.00pm-6.30pm timeslot encourages past players/supporters to bring their children and partners. We see it as a family friendly time.

While the annual club based reunions will be open to all Past Players/Supporters we will each year also add some focus to teams of the Past.

This year we plan to add additional focus to the following Premiership teams

  • 1983 C Grade Premiership- 31st anniversary
  • 1993 C Grade Premiership – 21st anniversary
  • 1993 Under 19 Div 1 Premiership – 21st anniversary

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
