Round three of the VAFA Division four season saw Chadstone host North Brunswick on Anzac Day. To mark the centenary of Anzac Day, local member of Parliament Graham Watt read the ode to the fallen, as players and match officials paid tribute to the sacrifice made by the many men and women who have lost their lives during war times. The game started with North Brunswick moving the ball freely across the ground and making the most of chances in front of goal. Chadstone started to lock down the Bulls run in the second quarter but were unable to create major scoreboard pressure. In the second half Chadstone buckled under the pressure of the Bulls, as North Brunswick dominated possession and ran out the game victors. Chadstone's back line held up under a huge barrage of North Brunswick pressure with Luke Farrugia and Daniall Cook standouts, and Caleb Vardy-Olsson, Danny Allsopp and skipper Dave Bennett applying pressure in the midfield.
