UNDER 16 SQUAD ANNOUNCED

 The Murray Bushrangers today announced a squad of 30 players that will represent the club in the upcoming Under 16 Victorian Country Championships.

 Talent Manager Lee Fraser was full of praise for local clubs and parents who provide a great environment that fosters the development of local talent “As a football club the Murray Bushrangers benefit greatly from the energy of our local coaches and volunteers who continue to produce talented footballers who are now ready to take the next step in their football careers”.

 “We were extremely pleased with each player who participated in our Under 16 pre-season program and whilst we cannot provide everyone with a place in the squad we thank everyone involved and look forward their continued development over the next few seasons’

 Fraser congratulated those players selected in what was a thorough list management process for the clubs Under 16 coaches and match committee. “This year’s pre-season has been increased significantly and our staff is confident that all of players selected are physically ready for the challenges of of the Victorian Country Championships”.

 Justin McMahon will once again coach the squad and will be assisted by experienced coaches in Matt Moylan, Andrew Mann, Mario DeSanta-Ana & Daniel Preston. Brenton Whale is the strength and conditioning coach with Katrina McInness from North East Life the squads physiotherapist. The group will be supported by trainers Ebony Sullivan, Mal Robinson and Rob Ryan.

 The Under 16 Bushrangers taken on the Bendigo Pioneers this Sunday 15 March at the Rumbalara Football Ground from 10.00am.
