Round 7 Murray Bushrangers vs NSW / ACT RAMS

An annual rivalry will be reignited on Saturday when the Murray Bushrangers take on New South Wales ACT Rams in Round 7 of the TAC CUP.

Murray coach Darren Ogier emphasized that the Bushrangers always look forward to this annual fixture which has proven to be a tough contest in recent seasons.

Whilst disappointed with last rounds loss to one of the competition’s powerhouses Calder, Ogier took a number of positives out of the game. ‘We conceded the first 5 goals of the game, this was disappointing however our KPI’s in the last three quarters were quite pleasing’.

“This week we will be focusing on a good start and making sure our heads are in the contest from the outset”.

The Bushrangers have made 5 changes this week with Australian Institute of Sport duo Josh Schache (Seymour) and Dylan McDonald (Albury) returning alongside in form defender Dan Howe (Rennie). Michael Duncan (Mitta) also returns after suffering foot injury earlier in the season.

The Club is also pleased to announce the debut of Lachlan Tiziani, originally from Broken Hill Tiziani has been in scintillating form for the Albury Tigers and will provide a spark up forward as the 23rd player.

“We welcome back some quality boys in the team and have taken the opportunity to rest of few of our bottom age boys who have played a lot of high intensity football during the early part of the season” Ogier said.

The game is being played at Lavington Sports Stadium from 12.30pm on Saturday 10 May.

Good Luck to all local clubs throughout the region this weekend.
