School Sport Victoria

AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL - 15 YEARS AND UNDER

Age Eligibility:

15 years and under as at 31 December in the year of competition.  For 2015, to be eligible for the SSV team students must be born in 2000 or 2001.

In 2015, School Sport Victoria will be entering only one representative team in the National 15 Years and Under Championships. Tasmania has rejoined School Sport Australia competition so all states and territories will be represented at the Championships.  School Sport Australia rules allow a member body to only enter one team if all states and territories are represented.

Trial information:

STAGE 1

1. Northern Victoria Country (for students attending schools in AFL Victoria's Central, Central Murray, Goulburn Murray, North East Border, Sunraysia and Wimmera Mallee Regions).

Trial date: Tuesday, 31 March 2015, 12pm

Venue: Shepparton TBC

 

2. Non TAC Metropolitan and Non TAC Mornington Peninsula

Trial date: Wednesday, 1 April 2015, 2pm

Venue: East Burwood Football Club, Burwood Hwy, East Burwood (Melway map 62 B7)

Players maybe selected to attend Trial 4 below.

 

3. Southern Victoria Country ( for students attending schools in AFL Victoria's Barwon, East Gippsland, Gippsland, Goldfields, South East, Western District and Yarra Ranges Regions) 

Trial date: Thursday, 2 April 2015, 12pm

Venue: Melbourne Grammar School,Domain Road Melbourne VIC 3004

 

4.  TAC Metropolitan and TAC Mornington Peninsula students plus players invited from Trial 2.

Trial date: Wednesday, 8 April 2015, 2pm

Venue: East Burwood Football Club, Burwood Hwy, East Burwood (Melway map 62 B7)

Geelong, VIC.  18 - 25 July 2015.

A MAXIMUM OF 25 PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED IN THE FINAL TEAM.
