Cole impresses at AFL Draft Combine

 

BENDIGO Pioneers and Sandhurst midfielder Tom Cole finished inside the top 10 in the shuttle run beep test at the AFL Draft Combine.

Cole ran 14.10 to be equal seventh in the test. Josh Schoenfeld won the trial with 16.2.

Schoenfeld also took out the 3km time-trial with a new record time of nine minutes, 15 seconds.

Cole has had interest from Geelong and has been tipped as a potential top 30 draft pick

Cole and Pioneers clubmate Aidyn Johnson from Echuca were selected for the AFL national draft combine.

Pioneers selected for the state combine held on Sunday at Etihad Stadium were Golden Square's Jayden Burke, Leitchville-Gunbower's Marty Hore and Sandhurst's Lachlan Tardrew.
