Jets Tryouts for 2018
Junior Jets is the opportunity for your child to take their basketball to the next level and compete in Australia's largest junior competition, The Melbourne United Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). VJBL is played on a Friday night in a large range of venues across the state. Each week over 1000 junior teams compete to be the best in state. This equates to over 500 games across 150 courts. This is the breeding ground for Victorian State players and many successful players have come out of this system; Mathew Dellavedova, Andrew Bogut, Andrew Gaze, Penny Taylor and Michelle Timms just to name a few. Competing in such a prestigious competition instils in your child a sense of pride, raises self-esteem, and will develop new friendships that will last a life time.
