We ran our first High Intensity training session yesterday with 12 U16 & U19 boys attending. It was a gruelling 2 hour session of skills, drills and scrimmaging. The aim was to not only teach the boys new skills but to push them physically and help them understand what basketball is like at the next level.
It was a great session, the boys learnt a lot and we think they would've slept very well last night!
A big thank you to Daniel Sollorz for getting the program up and running and to John De Jonge for his coaching assistance and Adam Cassar for helping out as well.
This High Intensity program will run for the next 3 Sunday's, there are still spots available for U 16 & U 19 boys if they would like to come along.
We will be starting more training sessions for the other age groups in the coming weeks so keep your eye out for the details coming through.
